Michał Szuszkiewicz

Bio

He lives and works in Warsaw. He completed his diploma under the supervision of Prof. Jarosław Modzelewski at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He focuses on painting. Together with Dorota Kozieradzka, he carries out interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of painting, photography, video, and installation.

He is a recipient of a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, laureate of the “Young Poland” scholarship program, finalist of the 9th edition of the Eugeniusz Geppert Competition and Rybie Oko VII. Author and participant of over 70 exhibitions. His works are held in collections in Poland and abroad, including the collection of Dietrich Mateschitz, the Starak Collection, the Luciano Benetton Collection, and Polpharma Biologics in Amsterdam.

He has presented his works in solo and group exhibitions in venues such as: BWA Zielona Góra, Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, State Art Gallery in Sopot, BWA Wrocław, Spectra Art Space, Museum Junge Kunst, Frankfurt (Oder), Red Bull Hangar-7 Salzburg, Klaipeda Culture Communication Center, Studio Gallery, Program Gallery, Salon Akademii, Visiting Gallery, Biuro Wystaw, the Repin Academy Museum in St. Petersburg, and Królikarnia.
