Join us at the mia ART GALLERY open day. On the 5^th of October 2012, from 12 PM to 7 PM, we will celebrate the opening of the gallery, accompanied by women artists, and waiting with a glass of wine for everyone who wants to see the Ladies First exhibition and our gallery space.

mia ART GALLERY on Czysta Street in Wrocław is intended to be a new Wrocław art salon, a place for exhibition, training and meetings, as well as the sale of contemporary art.

The Gallery will begin its operations with an exhibition of works by five young artists, titled LADIES FIRST. Anna Halarewicz, Malwina Karp, Anna Kołodziejczyk, Karolina Szymanowska and Ewelina Turkot will present their favourite works in their own spatial arrangements, weaving a narrative around them that will invite the viewer into the artists’ world. The founders of the gallery believe that this kind of direct exhibition of art is the most lively and offers the best opportunities to interact with the art. After all, it is about a relationship with the art and emotions, both in viewing art and purchasing it.

The viewers will encounter paintings, illustrations, drawings and sculptures. Also in October, the gallery is planning meetings with art investment experts and so-called artist’s hours – meetings with artists during which viewers will be able to meet with the artists and talk with them.

LADIES FIRST will be available until the 27th of October.
